This course examines positive, effective classrooms, student motivation and practical methods for various behavioral problems common in inclusion classrooms. Emphasis is in designing, implementing, and evaluating positive management in general education classrooms, including functional behavioral analyses and plans.

Concentrated study of topic(s) of current importance, interest and relevance. Attended summer conference that focused intently on the components of Climate, Community, and Curriculum and how these three components work interdependently in fostering a meaningful and engaging learning experience. Independent study and research will be stressed along with classwork.
